Hello there! Surprise! For you and ONLY you, here’s an exclusive live performance of “Finally Me” from me and the Loverboys Live at The Hotel Cafe directed by Taylor Barnes. I wanted to give you the chance to watch this performance before the general public. After being MIA for nearly 2 months, it’s the least I could do. I’ve been keeping you waiting for FAR too long. OH! and Please like and comment on youtube. It helps us out :)
First off, The Hotel Cafe. OMG. The Loverboys and I played the main stage at this iconic venue. As you already know this is something I have wanted since I was 12 years old. The artists that have graced this stage before us. Brandy, Bruno, Adele, Katy, Billie, Mac, and so many more icons. Like I told my loverboys, we are now apart of the history of this venue. That in itself is something that I’ll forever hold close to my heart and cherish. After last year and the shit show that happened on second stage, I feel content, fulfilled, and PROUD of the show me and my boys EARNED. The crowd was so beautiful, and I hope to see them again real soon. The Loverboys and I haven’t had the luxury of LA audiences getting to know us like SF audiences have. That’s changing now. We’ll be performing there EVERY month for the remainder of the year. I’m very excited for everyone to get to know us better, and build an audience and fanbase there like we have in SF. It’s important for me, for my boys, and this album, that we make our name known within this city. LA is my 2nd hometown, and they deserve that level of attention that we’ve given SF. Then when I feel content with that, I’ll consider hitting the road. Trust me, I already am. But I wanna make sure that there are audiences for me and my boys. I’m not going to be background music or to play empty venues. Loverboy Lucian is musically too rich of an album to be given the short end of the stick. Hence why I’ve been so selective on what gigs we accept. Our next show will be on September 7th with our SoFar family… this time in LA. The SF SoFar crew have become some of my best friends. And It’s long overdue for us to get to know the LA crew. I’m very excited for this new branch we’ll be apart of. Other than that, I’m not ready to talk about more shows that ARE in the works. You’ll just have to keep coming back to this newsletter for more.
Speaking of more… There is an announcement coming within the next 2 weeks. I hear there’s a new single releasing? Maybe a new music video? Maybe a whole new Loverboy chapter? IDK, bb. It’s just something I’m hearing through the grapevine ;)…
With all that said, I’ll be seeing you soon. Hang tight…. I’m about to serve like you’ve NEVER seen before.
